Paper Marbler
Colors floated on water, combed into feathers and stone, then lifted onto paper in a single held breath.

Why the human is the point
A paper marbler paints on water, which refuses to hold still, and somehow makes it behave. Drops of color spread into wide bright rings, then a comb and a steady hand rake them into feathers, waves, and veined stone that never repeat. The paper is laid down once and lifted, and whatever the water gave you is what you get, so every sheet is a first and final take. This is the old art behind the endpapers of beautiful books, made by someone reading the water and deciding, now. No two sheets in the world are the same, and each one is the signature of a hand that danced on a puddle and won.
