Why the human is the point
A knitter takes the simplest raw material, a single strand of wool, and builds warmth one loop at a time. Watch the hands and you see thousands of small decisions happening below thought: tension held just so, a stitch dropped back and rescued, a cable crossed to make the pattern turn. Every finished piece carries the quiet arithmetic of the person who made it, the slight give where they relaxed, the even rows where they found their rhythm.
