Bladesmith
Fire, hammer, and a person who can feel, through the steel, the moment it is ready.

Why the human is the point
A good blade begins as a dull bar and a lot of heat, and becomes an edge only because a person reads the color of the steel and strikes at exactly the right second. The bladesmith folds strength into metal by feel and repetition, forging a tool that will be trusted with a hand's weight and a lifetime's use. A factory stamps a thousand identical knives. A smith makes one, and it carries the memory of the fire and the hand that shaped it.
