Speech Therapist
The patient companion who helps a voice find its way into the world.

Why the human is the point
A word is a small miracle, and a speech therapist spends their days helping people reach for one. They sit knee to knee with a child sounding out a first clear sentence, or beside an adult relearning speech after a hard season, and they make it feel like play rather than struggle. This is work built on trust, because a person only tries a difficult sound when they feel safe enough to get it wrong. The judgment is delicate, knowing when to push, when to wait, and when to simply celebrate. Every breakthrough belongs to the person, and to the human who believed it was coming. To help someone be understood is one of the kindest jobs there is.
