Window Cleaner
With a squeegee and a steady arm, a window cleaner hands the day's light back to a room.

Why the human is the point
A window cleaner works in the space between us and the sky, turning grime back into clarity one clean pull of the blade at a time. It looks simple and is not: the wet, the angle of the squeegee, the finish with no streak or drip, all learned by hand until it becomes a kind of rhythm. Whether on a ladder over a shopfront or roped down a tower of glass, the job takes nerve, care, and a genuine pride in leaving a pane so clear it seems to disappear. There is a small daily gift in it, because a clean window changes a room and lets the morning back inside. This is a person making the world a little brighter, quite literally, and moving on before anyone thinks to say thanks.
