Tattoo Artist
Hours in a chair, a stranger's steady hands, and a mark you carry for life.

Why the human is the point
A tattoo is the rare thing you cannot return, made by a person you have to trust completely. For hours the artist bends over your skin, steady, adjusting the design to your body and your nerve, marking you in a way that will outlast every device you own. It is authorship and endurance and intimacy at once: a stranger's careful hands, a picture that becomes part of you. No screen ever asked that much trust, or kept it.
