Bricklayer
A wall rises one true course at a time, laid by a hand that knows when the mortar is right.

Why the human is the point
A brick wall is one of the oldest things a pair of hands can make, and it still goes up the same patient way: one brick, a bed of mortar, a tap to true it, then the next. The bricklayer works to a line and a level, reading the mud by feel, knowing when it is buttered just right and when a course needs a breath before the next one lands. It is slow in the way that lasts, because a wall laid true will outlive the person who laid it and shelter people they will never meet. There is a quiet pride in stepping back at the end of the day to a straight, sunlit run of brick that was only a pile that morning. This is the human at their most grounded, turning weight and grit into something that stands.
